Before exploring our schedule of fees and subject lists below, ensure that your fully read our Degree/Certification catalog info, please click here. Note that the eSeminar and/or VSC option no longer exists. All Certification applicants must follow the structured trimester-based programs below, either in the Honours, focused schedule, or a flexible, "at-your-own-pace" schedule. On this page you will find the subject list and fees for our seven annual programs, namely:
C1-CDS, Certificate; C2-CDS, Associates, C3-CDS, Highler Diploma, C4-CDS Bachelors, C5-CDS Masters, C6-CDS Doctor of Ministry, C7-CDS Doctor of Christian Philosophy.
In short, the total program fee for VIRTUE’s Certificate 1 – i.e. Year 1 studies only - is $2,498; which is split over three trimesters as follows: Trimester-01 = $828, Trimester-02 = $870 and Trimester-03 = $800. (For each of the remaining years of study the fees are roughly the same, not exceeding $2800 annually). Please note, however, that these fees are never paid all at once in a lump sump, but rather "as-you-go" in the following installments. (Abbreviation Notice: MP stands for Module Planner).
Trimester-01
1st Payment = $168: Payable when you submit MP-001 coursework - for grading, and you'll also receive the MP-002 planner. Remember that the 7-day trial exempts you from paying what would have been an additional $60 for the grading of MP-001 and access to the MP-002 planner; instead, these services will be given for FREE.
2nd Payment = $60: Payable when you submit MP-002 coursework - for grading, and you'll also receive the MP-003 planner.
3rd Payment thru 12th Payment = $60: Each payable when you submit MP-003 thru 012 coursework - for grading, and you'll also receive the MP-004 thru 012 planners and, finally, your Trimester-01 transcript.
Trimester-02
That would complete Trimester-01, and then you can start the progress again for Trimester-02, but this time you will have to pay a Resource fee of $150 - for the VCC instructional video, cd & manual - before starting. Thereafter, you will pay the regular $60 each after completing MP-013 thru 024 coursework, thereby completing Trimester-02 and receiving your Timester-02 transcript.
Trimester-03
Then for Trimester-03 you will just have to pay the regular $60 each after completing MP-024 thru 036 coursework. Then finally, you will pay the $80 graduation fee, thereby completing (i) Trimester-03 as well as your (ii) Year 1 VCDS studies. In this third trimester you will also enroll for and study the REN-103 course with Christian Leadership University (CLU), at the cost of approximately $400. Thus, you will graduate from VIRTUE and receive the CERTIFICATE 1, in CHRISTIAN DANCE STUDIES, along with your Timester-03 transcript, a graduation letter and a transfer letter which we will send directly to CLU. They in turn will process your graduation from CLU with 33 credits and your university-issued Certificate in Christian Arts, Major in Dance.
That is our yearly process, so if you decide to continue with us, the payment and study process will continue in Year 2 and beyond, just like this.
Additional Costs & Early Withdrawal
Note that in Trimesters 02 & 03 you may also have to purchase some external books/resources to accompany your studies, so do budget an extra $30 to $50 for these.
Additionally, should you decide to withdraw from - or cease - your studies at any point after completing just MP-002, then you can request for us to send you a Progress Letter, which confirms the number of modules you have completed, and can be used much like a "Workshop" certificate, to prove that you have participated in some part of the program, gaining valuable hours in professional development.
